First of all... maybe you have been asking yourself... What does Corita means?
Well, Corita is the name of the little girl who discovered the salsa recipe (as any good cooker knows, recipes are discovered, not made). At the time, Corita was a girl who enjoyed spending time in the kitchen with her mother and sisters. One day, Corita was mixing some ingredients, and asked her mom to taste her “Chipotle” mixture. When Corita’s mom tasted that mix, she was surprised and asked all the family to taste it.
People who experienced the flavor of the salsa in their mouths were asking Corita to share the recipe with them, but she always said: “I think the recipe is in my heart, not in my mind,” with a big smile on her face. Since that happened, the recipe has been “another member of the family."
Now after three generations Corita’s recipe is still around. For that reason, Chiles y Salsas Margarita is bringing Corita's original recipe to your house. Corita's Salsa is truly an authentic Mexican product.
